  The locations for the engagement sessions on the proposed federal Indigenous languages legislation have just been announced!

The schedule for the B.C. sessions is as follows:
  • Vancouver - June 26/27 (for Métis and First Nations Sessions): Radisson Hotel Vancouver Airport, 8181 Cambie Rd (Richmond)
    *please note that there is a pre-meeting with the AFN for the First Nations session*
  • Kamloops June 29: Holiday Inn & Suites Kamloops, 675 Tranquille Rd 
  • Nanaimo – July 4: Coast Bastion Hotel, 11 Bastion Street
  • Prince George – July 6: Sandman Signature Prince George Hotel, 2990 Recplace Drive
First Nations in B.C. have a voice in the development of this legislation. Please share this information with leadership and language advocates in your communities and encourage them to attend. 

FPCC is not involved in the planning of these sessions, but we will share any updated information as soon as it becomes available.
