The Organizations and Collectives Program is intended solely for Indigenous organizations, societies, First Nations communities and established unincorporated arts collectives that have a stated and demonstrated commitment to Indigenous arts development and practice.

Applicants should be working to develop the activities of emerging artists to a professional standard, and/or supporting the practice and development of their art form in any discipline.

Indigenous Arts Program grants are meant to assist arts organizations and collectives with:
  • advancing the work of Indigenous artists
  • enhancing their activities as an arts and culture organization or collective
  • building capacity and sustainability for the organization for the benefit of artists and audiences
  • enhancing their connections to other arts organizations or networks
Please note: For the purposes of this program, the term “Indigenous artists” includes Indigenous status, non-status, Métis and/or Inuit.
