Apply for the BCLI Grant Online!

FPCC is accepting online submissions for the B.C. Language Initiative (BCLI). Grants range from $20,000 to $100,000. 

BCLI grants support projects to revitalize First Nations languages in B.C. including:
  •  Immersion Programming (children or adults)
  • Traditional and Cultural Language Programming
  • Documentation, Recording and Digitization
  • Materials Development
  • FirstVoices Development: Language Archiving using FirstVoices Technology/FirstVoices Language Tutor
  • Language Planning
Eligible organizations include First Nations communities, governments, bands, and tribal councils in B.C. as well as Indigenous organizations and Indigenous non-profits in B.C. Previous applicants may apply if reporting is up to date.
