Announcing BCLI Call for Applications

FPCC is pleased to announce that the B.C. Language Initiative Program (BCLI) is accepting applications for the 2018-2019 program year!

BCLI supports projects to revitalize British Columbia First Nations languages through documentation, immersion programs, materials and curriculum development, traditional and cultural programming, and community collaboration. First Nations communities and organizations are eligible to submit proposals.

FPCC is accepting proposals for the BCLI for up to $100,000. Grants should be between $20,000 - $100,000 maximum, per year.

*NEW* Multi-year funding is available for projects that span one, two, or up to three fiscal years:
YEAR 1: July 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019
YEAR 2: April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020
YEAR 3: April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021

BCLI Application Forms

Multi-year funding is available for projects that span one, two, or up to three fiscal years. Please download the appropriate application form depending on how many years of funding you are applying for.

Deadline for Applications: Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 4:00pm

Hand-delivered applications must be received in hard copy by FPCC on or before April 25, 2018. Mailed applications must be post-marked on or before April 25, 2018.

Language Needs Assessment:
